Calvary Sacred Ground symbolizes of the faith the people hold for their unshakeable faith and devotion. According to records the Calvary Sacred Shrine had been set up in 1900 and was declared a national sacred shrine by the government in 2008. Form its inception on 1900, the Calvary sacred Ground was worshipped by millions of devotees. The Sacred shrine is extreamly important due to its lifelike statue of Jesus Crist with a woodencross, which was imported cross, which was imported from the Rome in 1900s giving it a century of worthy history. With a dense vegetation around the hill summit, the Calvary sacred Ground not only houses its devotees also gives shelter for flora and fauna. As it stand the sacred Shrine is a historical monument.
